main essence of the role is to support the company in day-to-day security operations.

Join our Transcom Family as a Security engineer

Responsible as part of a team for the day-to-day operation of the security infrastructure (network and server hardening, pen test, patch management, access control over multiple platforms and applications, network auditing) and responding to security incidents and requests.● Assist in providing audit responses that pertains to PCI DSS, ISO, and other regulatory requirements
● Actively monitor events from intrusion detection systems and system logs and notify appropriate groups in
case of threats or vulnerabilities for immediate corrective actions
● Monitor security procedure requirements to ensure adherence to policy requirements and regulatory requirements
● Respond and resolve all security incidents● Other duties as assigned

.What we are looking for:

● Incident, Change, Request & CMDB Management

● Windows/AD/OSx/Linux
● Anti-virus (Symantec advantageous)
● Log Management Tools (SumoLogic advantageous)
● Vulnerability scanning (Qualys advantageous)

● ITIL Foundation certified (v4) with 5 years experience of Incident, Change, Request & CMDB Management is requested.
● Certified ISO auditor or similar would be advantageous but not essential

● 2 Rotating shifts, on-call duty

● Minimum studies: College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience

● English verbal and written: Fluency in English is a must (both written and spoken). Other languages are a plus
