Senior PHP Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend PHP Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role for individuals who thrive on complex problem-solving and are passionate about delivering high-quality solutions.

In this position, you will work closely with our development team to design and implement robust backend systems using PHP and related technologies such as Symfony framework, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Agile methodologies.

You will also be responsible for developing REST APIs, implementing Test Driven Development within a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our applications in production environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using PHP and related technologies.
• Develop and implement REST APIs that meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Work closely with the development team to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues.
• Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) principles and ensure the integration of automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Symfony framework experience (3+ years)

PHP expertise (5+ years)

MySQL and PostgreSQL experience (3+ years)

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an iterative development environment.

Familiarity with containerization using Docker and knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS.

Experience with test automation and TDD principles.

Prior experience with messaging queues like RabbitMQ, Redis, or Elasticsearch is a plus.
