Essential Functions
Ability to work with, and teach a diverse student population. Ability to speak in front of groups of people. Must be able to effectively communicate with students, co-workers, supervisors and the campus community. Must be able to develop, prepare and present information. Must able to operate computers. Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position and must adjust any teaching to the Americans with Disabilities Act provisions. .
Desirable Qualifications
ABD or Ph.D. in Anthropology or related field; Prior teaching experience at the college level; and experience with classroom technologies. Experience with a learning management system such as D2L Brightspace. Online teaching experience, particularly with formal training based on OSCQR through SUNY Online or a SUNY campus. Evidence of successful teaching of non-traditional students.

Master’s degree in Anthropology or related field. Excellent written communication skills as demonstrated by application materials.
