
Senior Intellectual Property Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications worldwide.
- Conduct thorough patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Collaborate with research and development teams and tech transfer offices of corporate and academic clients, to identify and protect innovations.
- Represent clients before Patent Offices and the European Patent Office.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in patent law and practice.
- Degree-level qualified in Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
- EQE-qualified with at least 5 years of experience in the profession; additional national qualification(s) is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in electronics/computer-implemented inventions casework, drafting, filing, and prosecuting EPO and PCT applications.
- Knowledge of EPO opposition and appeal procedures, contentious proceedings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of an international team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, additional linguistic skills are desirable but not essential.
