As the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the timely and correct handling of matters concerning the day-to-day payroll, including correspondence with the assigned clients. In this job your main goal will be to ensure that TMF’s clients in Croatia are provided with efficient, professional, and high-quality services which meet all statutory obligations across payroll.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and processing of salary calculation, other income and receipts in accordance with applicable regulations and prescribed client’s deadlines;
- Preparing and filing of JOPPD and all other payroll statutory reports to various Croatian authorities;
- Preparing posting files, reports and payroll confirmations;
- Collecting of all necessary information from the client on time;
- Responsible for accurate entry of source information into payroll software;
- Ensuring all paperwork is filled on time and accurately with the relevant authorities;
- Preparing draft correspondence to clients and authorities;
- Working in compliance with all company procedures and related standards of work;
- Keeping up to date with changes in payroll and labor legislation.
About you
The successful candidate possesses deep knowledge of Croatian payroll legislations coupled with exemplary people skills. Integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.
Ideally you are meeting following hiring criteria:
- At least 4 years of experience in Payroll processing;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economy or related field;
- Very good knowledge of payroll legislation;
- Proven track record from payroll services industry would be considered as a great advantage;
- Hands-on mentality and drive for improvements;
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
- Analytical and systematical approach to work;
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines during busy payroll runs;
- Diligence in performing work;
- Excel knowledge - advanced level;
- Very good command of English (both verbal and written)
