The Role:
Are you a seasoned professional looking to join our team in Zagreb as a Senior Finance Analyst for the Central Europe region within our International Nutrition Division (ANI)? This position entails covering a maternity leave with a fixed-term contract lasting around 18 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in strategic and tactical decision-making for affiliates and regional management to ensure judicious investment choices.
- Lead and facilitate the development of Business Cases for strategic initiatives such as new product launches and market entries.
- Drive projects focused on enhancing margins and profitability.
- Oversee business finance reporting and provide insightful commentary on results along with proposed strategies to bridge gaps.
- Manage business triangulations and ensure financial processes are aligned with country objectives.
- Coordinate the enhancement of local planning systems for sales and expenses alongside the affiliates and regional management team.
- Participate in the preparation of division and area planning schedules during rolling LBE cycles.
- Support the Central Europe S&OP process in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Ensure all financial activities adhere to Abbott policies, local laws, and regulations.
- Conduct monthly closing activities related to Sales and budget analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in economics or finance.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles.
- Prior exposure to similar industries, preferably in an international capacity.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Attributes like adaptability, systematic approach, initiative, and punctuality are key.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Advanced PC skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proactive with a focus on delivering results.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
